Blueprint Printing for Denver: Approved E-Permits Plans, Printed for the Jobsite
Denver’s Community Planning and Development has moved permitting into e-permits. Its own FAQ says “Permits are no longer issued at the counter”, and the approved, stamped plans are downloaded from e-permits. That doesn’t remove the paper. The City’s e-permits tutorial says you must have both the issued permit and the approved plans available on the jobsite. Download the approved plans, upload the PDF to us, and we print every sheet at $1.95 in black and white or $3.75 in color. Orders placed by 3 PM ET ship the same day, and we ship to all 50 states.
Prices (flat, 18×24 to 36×48)
| Per sheet | |
|---|---|
| Black & white | $1.95 |
| Color | $3.75 |

Approved plans go to ADUs and pop-tops in Highland, Sloan’s Lake and Platt Park, to scrape-and-rebuild houses in Washington Park, to mixed-use and multifamily work along the RiNo and Santa Fe corridors, and to commercial build-outs downtown and in Cherry Creek. Aurora, Lakewood and Englewood are separate cities with their own building departments. Denver’s e-permits rules apply only inside the City and County of Denver.
What Denver’s e-permits guidance says
From CPD’s e-permits FAQs page and the e-permits tutorial:
| Rule | What Denver says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Counter is gone | “Permits are no longer issued at the counter.” | Denver e-permits FAQs |
| Stamped plans online | “The approved, stamped plans will also be available to download from e-permits.” | Same |
| Both on the jobsite | “You must have both the issued permit and the approved plans available on the jobsite.” | e-permits tutorial |
| Every permit has its own plans | “If you have multiple permits, make sure to check each permit for the respective approved plans” | Same |
| Print the whole permit | “Make sure to print all pages of the permit to display at the jobsite.” | Same |
| Where they live | The approved plans are on the permit record under “Record Info” > “Attachments”, which “will take longer to load than the rest of the page.” | Same |
| Paper submittals | “Plans submitted on paper will not be available to download here.” | Same |
Getting Denver’s jobsite set printed
- One permit, one set of approved plans. A building permit and its trade permits can each carry their own approved plans. Open each record’s Attachments and download them all, then print them as one order with a set for each trade.
- The permit pages are yours to print. You can print an issued permit’s few letter-size pages at the office. Send us the plan sheets: 24×36, 30×42 and 36×48 all cost the same per sheet.
- Keep the City’s stamp legible. Print at full size and 100% so the approval stamp and the scale bar read the way the reviewer saw them. We print the City’s stamp exactly as it appears on your PDF; we don’t stamp, seal or sign drawings ourselves. Our PDF page size checker shows each sheet’s size before you order.
- Ship it where the crew is. At checkout, put the lot or the site trailer as the address. See shipping plans to the job site.
CPD and your design professional decide what’s in the approved plans. We print the PDF you upload and don’t contact the City for you, so check with them first.
