18×24 Blueprint Printing (ARCH C)
An 18×24 sheet has exactly half the area of a 24×36 sheet (432 square inches against 864), and it’s what a 36×48 drawing becomes when it’s printed at 50%. In the architectural series it’s ARCH C. We print it from your PDF at $1.95 per sheet in black & white or $3.75 in color — same price, all sizes (18×24 to 36×48). No minimum order.
ARCH C or ANSI C? Check before you upload
ARCH C is 18×24 inches. The engineering size with a similar name, ANSI C, is 17×22, a little smaller on both sides. If your title block says ANSI C, your PDF pages are probably 17×22, not 18×24. What printing at 18×24 does to scale
Scale is tied to the sheet the drawing was set up on. A plan drawn at 1/4″ = 1′-0″ on a 36×48 sheet and printed on 18×24 is now 1/8″ = 1′-0″, because every line is half as long. That’s fine for a reference or field copy, but a reviewer measuring with a scale ruler needs to know. If the PDF was created at 18×24 to begin with, it prints at the scale shown on the sheet. Ordering an 18×24 set
- Export the PDF at 18×24 with “fit to page” off. How to prepare a PDF plan set covers AutoCAD and Revit exports.
- Upload it, choose 18×24, black & white or color, and the number of copies. Color sheets go on their own line item in the same order.
- Check out with the ship-to address. Order by 3 PM ET, ships same day, arrives as soon as the next day.
Everything prints on bond paper; we don’t offer vellum or Mylar. Larger sheets: 24×36 (ARCH D), 30×42 and 36×48.
Frequently asked questions
Is 18×24 the same as ARCH C?
Yes. ARCH C is 18×24 inches. ANSI C is a different size, 17×22.
Is 18×24 a half-size set?
It’s half-size for a 36×48 (ARCH E) set. A half-size 24×36 set is 12×18, which isn’t a checkout size; email support@printmyplans.com before you order one.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can order a single sheet.
