Printing plans doesn’t have to be expensive. The biggest savings come from a few simple choices: the right color mode, a clean PDF, and ordering only what you need. 1. Know the price per sheet before you upload
Some printers charge more as sheets get bigger. We don’t: one flat price per sheet for every size.

2. Choose black & white unless color matters
Black & white is $1.95 per sheet; color is $3.75, nearly double. Most construction drawings read perfectly in B&W. Save color for sheets where it carries meaning, such as color-coded utilities, site plans with shaded areas, or presentation renderings. You can mix both in one order: add the B&W and color sheets as separate line items. Example: a 30-sheet set with 4 color sheets is 26 × $1.95 + 4 × $3.75 = $50.70 + $15.00 = $65.70, versus 30 × $3.75 = $112.50 all in color.
3. Send one clean, print-ready PDF
- Set the PDF page size to the sheet you’re printing (for example 24×36) so drawings print to scale with no resizing.
- Combine the set into one PDF in sheet order and remove blank or superseded pages, so you only pay for sheets you need.
- Check line weights and text at 100% zoom, and flatten layers if things disappear on screen.

4. Order only the sets you need

5. Use a discount code you qualify for
